Never sell your car on time. Unless it's to family, but even then it is still stupid.

Wouldn’t you pay $100 to never see that car again?

I am in search of a 1998 suzuki esteem 4 door car, silver, with mix matched rims. I sold this car to a Carla Jo Harden and she has not made one single payment in 5 months! She lied about her address, and everything else. I have the title and need to find the car. $100 cash reward for the location of the car no questions asked. The car is nothing special, its about not giving a con artist a car for free, and she will con the next person too. Please help, God Bless and thank you!

I’m curious how many payments were required to be the proud owner of a 17 year-old Suzuki?

....and people are dumb.

Something tells me he probably signed the title over.

As McMike said I get the feeling he signed it over to the other person. However on our titles there is an area to easily state you have a lean against it. So probably his own stupidity or too much trust got him in this situation.

I don’t know what was dumber...

Accepting payments from a stranger for a $1000-1500 car, or

Broadcasting that you actually did #1

Here’s a good rule of thumb.. if a bank won’t finance them, neither should you.

I imagine after months of no legitimate calls on this Suzuki, he felt desperate and let his guard down when Carla called and pleaded her situation. He agreed to let her make payments because he’s a nice guy, and wanted to finally get rid of the car. She probably drove it for a month, and then sold it for scrap.

I'm going to go with number one but very closely followed by two.
